Head of Service Management as a Service – Application Services North America
Vikram Joshi heads the Service Management as a Service (SMaaS) Group for Capgemini’s Application Services Practice in North America. In his role, he has enabled multiple customers and Capgemini teams across North America, Europe, and Asia to transform IT operations by leveraging SMaaS’ AI-driven IT service management analytics capability.
Vikram has broad-based operations and technology consulting experience with a specific focus on Digital Service Management, IT Business Analytics, and Lean IT. His key areas of interest include modernization of IT operations in the age of DevOps, the impact of automation on traditional ITSM processes, and the use of analytics to migrate from measurements and metrics to business-focused KPIs. He is also passionate about developing new IT Ops models that bring transparency to three key aspects of IT service management – people, performance, and continuous improvement.
Vikram has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Pune University and he also holds an MBA degree from Ivey Business School at Western University in Canada. In his free time, Vikram likes to golf, travel, and he is also passionate about angel investing in early-stage technology start-ups.
